Our group of dedicated specialists will help you understand these results, and also work with you to solve any mysteries that may have arisen about your biological origins.
These amazing individuals will also assist adoptees in searching for their birth parents.
What is a Search Angel and how can they help you?
A search angel is a person who volunteers their time and energy to help you find your family. A search angel uses the results of your DNA test and utilizes their own family tree-building expertise to locate the most common recent ancestors of yourself and all the other testers that you match with. From there, they would work forward in time, slowly filling in missing pieces of the puzzle
Just like everyone’s individual story and journey is unique, we are as well. Our search angels are real people whom all come from different backgrounds, have different personalities, and started volunteering for a variety of reasons. Although our paths didn’t all emerge from the same place; through our expertise, our communication skills, and our love for helping people we have found each other and collectively have solved thousands of cases of adoption and misattributed paternity.
Our team specializes in DNA analysis, genealogy, research skills and complex problem solving. We utilize numerous effective strategies – including out-of-the-box solutions to help you find biological family.

Our Approach to Understanding Your Results
Deciphering your DNA results can be a challenging process and at times feel like an uphill battle. If you are adopted or are experiencing an unknown parentage, we have the tools to help you.
We understand that the questions you may have about how you originated could be hard to answer on your own. Our search angels will guide and help you through this journey no matter how long or short the road may be.
Our search angels specialize in analyzing your DNA match results through Ancestry and 23andnme to help you find your biological family members and your family lineage. As described in a previous section; a search angel will use the results of your DNA test and use their own family tree-building expertise to locate your most recent common ancestors. Then they will diligently connect as many of your matches to this family tree as possible with the ultimate goal of finding where you fit in yourself.
Do not feel discouraged if you have taken a DNA test and did not automatically match with a biological parent or sibling, as this is rare. Located within your matches will be a handful of cousins and other clues that we can use to put the puzzle of your heritage together.
The majority of the cases that we are able to provide assistance for are individuals looking for their biological parent(s) or grandparent(s), but can be effective at other searches if there is enough viable information within your DNA match list.
Whatever Your Goals Is…That Is Our Goal Too
While we offer free DNA Search Angels services, we also know that everyone’s journey is unique and the answers you are seeking may not be able to be answered through DNA. Our Search Angels are very skilled at locating records and have access to multiple databases that may help. We have the knowledge and resources to help you find a person that you have lost contact with, help you build your family tree, and to assist you in gaining access to your original birth certificates.

We highly recommend taking an Ancestry test; as they have the largest database of testers, a great sharing platform, and also an easier system for us to work off of. We can also assist you using your 23andnme results, but please acknowledge that this platform has smaller database of testers and may not have enough adequate data for us to work off of.
At this time, we are unable to assist in a sibling search, unless this sibling has also taken a DNA test or you suspect one of their descendants have. When searching for a sibling it is important to test with all DNA testing sites available and upload your raw DNA results to all the free sites: GedMatch, MyHeritage, and FTDNA to assist in your search.
In accordance with the the law, we are unable to search for anyone that is under the age of 18.
